Bio-Mechanical
Advantage's pedorthic foot
& leg services are available by appointment only.
Initial
consultations are done at the satellite clinic locations only. All
subsequent visits are held at the same clinic unless special
arrangements are made. Click here

total of 60 minutes is allotted for initial assessments and orthotic
casting appointments. Appointments for follow-up visits and orthotic dispensing are 30
minutes.
To
book an appointment, contact the clinic location you wish to
attend. If you require further information before setting up
an appointment, please leave a message on the main office voice
mail.

Some
of the services provided by Bio-Mechanical Advantage require a
physicians referral. The following information will help you determine what you will need before attending
your appointment.
Orthotics
In
keeping with the guidelines set by the College of Pedorthics of Canada
and its Code of Ethics, a written prescription or referral from a
physician (or other health care practitioner with prescribing rights) is
required before custom foot orthotics can be provided. The
prescription must be filled within one year of the date written and
should contain the following:
Assessments
A
medical referral and diagnosis of your condition is preferred,
but not required for any of our lower limb assessment services (i.e.
Biomechanical Examinations, Video Gait Analysis, Footwear Consultations,
etc...).
Bio-Mechanical
Advantage provides pedorthic consultation services at six (6)
physiotherapy and sports injury clinics in the Greater Toronto
